Not Out Of Sight...
The "Not Out Of Sight Of Black Mountain" Run, on Sunday, 8 February 2009, organised by Mick Gentleman, included a free tour of the Canberra Historic Railway Museum, followed by a BBQ at the Services Club.
The route was from the Club along Adelaide ave, Cotter Rd, Urriarra, Coppins Crossing, William Hovell, Parks Way, Moreshead Drive, Dairy road, Canberra Ave, Wentworth Ave and into Cunningham Street, Kingston.
The Services Club opened early for us. Don Burrows and Gary Rankin were doing the BBQ.
The temperature was 36 degrees Celsius at 11:30am.
There were no breakdowns, except Dick Stubbs' bike suffered a flat tyre, but was picked up by Arki Jaatinen with the backup trailer.
Thanks to the Canberra Railway Museum, and Dave Carroll for being our tour guide.
