Heading north onto the Federal Highway via Collector, the weather conditions were dry and overcast with light winds at first. We turned off the Highway at the Collector junction for a pleasant ride trough the back roads, stopping along the way for a group photograph. We continued on for ten or so kilometres and joined up with the old Barton Highway and into Gunning to our favourite watering hole at the ‘Ye Old Barton Highway Café’. A well deserved round of coffees and food was consumed over an hour or so of light hearted conversation. On the return leg the weather was much brighter and the wind had subsided. We travelled home via Sutton and the Federal Highway. Around 200 km was covered today and back home by 2.30pm.
