We had intended to ride to Yass but had a change of plan, due to Graham Bennedick who was visiting from Toowoomba Queensland and was staying at Ernie’s place. Graham was riding a very nice T100 of 1939 vintage and Ernie was on his very fine T100 as well. So, Gunning was our revised destination, we agreed to stop at Gundaroo for the older bikes to catch up.

We all headed up the Federal Highway then through Sutton Village onto Gundaroo, Floyd was riding tail-end Charlie just in case any of the older bikes needed assistance. We all arrived in good order, Graham, Ernie and Floyd had a five minute start before the rest of us set off again, we all met up at the Old Hume Café in Gunning our usual watering hole.

A pleasant couple of hours was spent chatting and partaking of refreshments, we all left in smaller groups travelling back home in different directions. A round trip of about 150 – 170 km.
