A wonderful winters short day’s ride, bright, sunny with light wind picking up later. We headed off up the Federal Highway turning off at the Sutton Road junction, then through the village, turning right onto Bungendore Road. We turned right at the intersection of the Federal Highway and first left onto Bungendore Road again then rode onto Bungendore.

The group stopped for refreshment at Logan’s Café. Where coffee, scones, jam and cream was consumed by some, and a good measure of light hearted conversation was enjoyed by all. We departed around 1pm travelling back to Canberra via Norton Road and Queanbeyan. John and Floyd made their way back via the Federal highway.

During the way back home I clocked up a total of 15,000 km since purchasing my Bonnie eighteen months ago, with one service and one new rear tyre during that period and no mechanical problems or faults.

Distance travelled 110km and home by about 1.50pm.
