Heavy rain and high winds had fallen overnight leaving the morning cold, with westerly winds and overcast sky and a chance of showers. During our discussion on where to ride too, two options were proposed, Gunning via Collector or Yass via Murrumbateman Road. The last option was chosen for our ride. During the ride we managed to miss all of the showery conditions leaving just wet road surfaces and a few cross winds.

After a journey of 68km we arrived at Galutzi Café just right half way along the main High Street. We all enjoyed hot coffee and toasted sandwiches, Denis chose soup of the day, conversation was lively and we all departed about at 12.30pm.

Our journey home was along the Barton Highway covering around 141km on today’s ride arriving home about 1.30pm.

Since our group varies around eight to twelve and you must have seen enough group photographs and food shots. I thought a change might be in order and here is a photo of one of our group from bygone days. No prizes for guessing who it is but, you can a laugh with us.
