The day was predicted to be a stinker and it was just as predicted reaching 35 degrees. Yet nine keen regulars fronted up at EPIC and areas listed below.
The ride proceeded without encountering any road works to Bungendore for morning refreshments via Macs Reef Road and Bungendore Road.
From there it returned via Norton Road and Oaks Estate to Len's house at Chapman where Len put on a most sumptious Xmas feast the likes of which could never be bettered.
The day was at its worst by the time we arrived but the fine food, liquid refreshments and good conversation and company soon provided a distraction.
The group broke up progressively over the afternoon, making their own individual ways home to sleep off the excesses of the day.
