A social ride to Gold Creek Village via The Federal Highway

Rally point: 10.00am from the Shell Fuel Station at EPIC

This week's ride was one which I wasn't able to join. I was busy converting my carport into a garage. Peter was on a rally, Lorraine was on holiday in NZ and Denis is somewhere in Vietnam. Hopefully having fun on old Russian motorbikes, we await his report with great expatiation.

The group decided to head up the Federal Highway (FH) turning left at the Tulip farm onto part of the old FH which is still in good condition and pleasant riding route before it rejoins the new FH at a rest station which overlooks Lake George. Where the group stopped for a brief period to take in the scenery (see photographs on 17 March report). The group then made their way to Gold Creek Village via Murrumbateman and Nanima Roads. Refreshments were taken at a cafe in Gold Creek Village before the group broke up to make their separate way home. No photographs were taken on this trip, sorry chaps.
