Stan Perry - Yamaha FJ1200 (1989)
Floyd Primmer- BMW R100LT (1994)
Stuart Ross - SR500 Special (1970's?)
Len Skipper - Triumph Bonneville T100 (2007)

Apologies: Peter Davy, Ernie Seary, Denis Murphy & John Broad

Rally point: 10.00am from the Shell Fuel Station at EPIC

Denis is still somewhere in Vietnam, having fun on Old Russian motorbikes and tasting the delights of the cuisine on offer. It was nice to see Stuart of Ross Racing, joining us after his trip to test out his salt racer (Specially Prepared SR500) which reached a recorded 117mph he was hoping to reach 120mph next year perhaps.

The group decided to head up the Federal Highway turning left at the Tulip farm onto part of the old Federal Highway which is a pleasant riding route before it rejoining the new Federal Highway. We stopped at the rest station which overlooks Lake George for a brief period to take a few photographs and admire the scenery. Before heading to Collector and Gunning via the old Barton Highway.

We stopped again at the Old Hume Cafe for refreshments and a chat as usual. Stuart gave us a run down on his trip and showed us a few of his photographs of the salt racer. We took the shorter route home via Sutton Village and I managed to clock up 230km on this ride.
