Another great day for a ride and perfect weather for it as well, we had arranged to meet-up with The Usual Suspects at Honeysuckle Creek (HSC), this was the second occasion we've organised this event with them. This is a BBQ venue with no catering facilities. We made our way along the GDE to Weston, stopping at Cooleman Court shops to stock up with the necessary provisions.

At five dollars a head, a bargain price for lunch, we purchased plenty of food, which included steak, hamburgers, bread rolls, green stuff, fresh fruit and orange juice to keep the most ferocious apatite satisfied.

We headed for the Cotter Road and HSC via Tharwa. Always the pleasant leg of the journey with a good selection of twisty bends to keep one alert, apart from meeting a few more construction vehicles then usual due the Cotter dam enlargement works including a tourist bus making it challenging to overtake with safety on the narrow roads. We all arrived safely at the destination.

The Usual Suspects had already arrived and had a fire going in the fire place and were busy with their BBQ preparations. A pleasant time was had by all chatting and enjoying the food with a warm glow from the fire. After an hour or so we headed home, some choose the shorter route through the Tuggeranong Town Centre, and a few of us decided go back the same way has we had come, stopping at the Moon Rock cafe for coffee.

This was another very successful joint venture ride with the Usuals' and we covered around 160-195kms for the days ride depending on the route taken home.
