Rally point: 10.00am from the old Shell Fuel Station at EPIC

Denis is in Singapore on holiday, catching-up with his son's family and tasting the delights of the Singaporeans' cuisine.

Our trip this week was to Gunning, taking the longer route. We headed up the Federal Highway in ideal weather conditions. Turning left at Tulip farm onto the old Federal Highway which is a pleasant route with little or no traffic, it rejoins the new Highway near Lake George. We turned off at the Collector junction and through to Breadalbane village then onto the old Barton Highway. Now that the numerous pot holes have been repaired with extensive resurfacing work carried out makes for quick and pleasant riding, we finally arrived at our destination.

We stopped at our usual watering hole, the Old Hume Cafe for refreshments and more bike chat. We decided to take a longer route home via Nanima Road, then onto the Barton Highway, Hall and home via GDE.

I managed to clock up 220km from our rallying point arriving home around 3.30pm it was another great Wednesday ride with good mates.
