Another perfect winter's day for a ride, we had arranged to meet-up with The Usual Suspects at Honeysuckle Creek (HSC), this was the third occasion we've organised this event. This is a BBQ venue with no catering facilities.

We made our way along the GDE to Weston, stopping at Cooleman Court shops to purchase provisions for the BBQ which included minute steaks, lamb burgers, bread rolls, mixed salad, fresh fruit and orange juice. At five dollars a head, we had enough food to keep the most ferocious apatite satisfied.

We headed for the Cotter Road and HSC via Tharwa. Always the pleasant journey with a good selection of twisty bends to keep one alert, apart from meeting a few construction vehicles due the Cotter dam enlargement works plus two ducks and an Emu which I didn't see. We all arrived safely at our destination.

The Usual Suspects had already arrived about ten minutes before us and had their BBQ underway. A pleasant time was had by all chatting and enjoying the food. After an hour or so we joined The Usual Suspects at the Moon Rock café for coffee in fine spring like weather condition on their outside deck.

This was another very successful joint venture ride we covered around 165 -175 km on this trip.
