Another one of those cold crisp winter's day for a sunny but chilly ride with a bunch of good mates. The starting temperate was around the 6 or 7°C falling slightly lower in places on our outward journey.

We had intended to stop at the Rollonin Café at Bowning but, unfortunately the ride leader (who shall be nameless) took us on another route instead. We headed onto the Barton Highway for the direct route to Bowning, where the Barton Highway forks left to Boorowa we all went on the right hand side of the junction heading towards Goulburn.

This was a very quiet stretch of freeway with little traffic apart from the odd truck or two, ideal to blow a few cobwebs out of the bikes system. The lead rider must have been on auto pilot heading for the usual waterhole at Gunning, because that is where we finished up!

The Usual Suspects also had the Rollonin Café as one of their stops but, found it was closed until the end of July and finished up at Yass for morning tea. The embarrassed rider who lead us on this roundabout journey reckoned he had a premonition that the cafe was closed. Who does he think he's kidding! As it turned out we all had a jolly good time giving him heaps, justly deserved.

Our ride home was via Sutton Village and the Federal Highway without incident apart from one of our group who had a slight mishap at Mitchell coming off his bike at the GDE intersection. No injury just minor damage to his bike's indicator stem and light including a little bruised pride.

This was another interesting ride and we covered around 200-225 km on this magical mystery tour.
